::What People Are Saying About Little Tractor:: - A Little Tractor Testimonial -

"When our home burned last year we lost everything.  While trying to get our life back to something that may be called "normal", I needed filters for my DK 35.

While I was on the phone with parts I told them of the house burning and that UPS could have a problem with a house not here any more. The parts DID arrive fine. But inside the parts box was a new hat. Man it was like finding gold.

Now I had a hat to wear again. Thanks to everyone at Little Tractor!"

Little Tractor is a member of the Big Heine Purple Outhouse Fan Club - Are YOU?

There was a surprise for us on the Little Tractor lot this morning ..
actually it wasn't 'too' much of a surprise because news always leaks in a small town like Metropolis...

As we began to gather for our work day, employees couldn't help but notice that a purple outhouse sat proudly on the road side at "the Land of Little Tractor"...

The Big Heine Purple Outhouse is the brain child
of a group of Metropolis folks to raise funds for the 2011 Massac County Relay for Life.

11/18/2010 - On the Road Again - Pope County Deer Festival -

We did miss the sunshine today while we were on the road to Pope County's 50th Annual Deer Festival, but when our feet hit the pavement and we caught the smell of bar-b-que and funnel cakes wafting through the air, the drive had been worthwhile.

However, the trip wasn't made for funnel cakes and bar-b-que ... the trip was made to deliver a few of the gas powered Bad Boy MTVs to the event staff at 50th Annual Pope County Deer Festival in Golconda, IL.

In the video below, Sales Manager Jay Corzine details some of  the fine points of the Bad Boy MTV and gives his own testimonial based on personal experience.

Enjoy!

::From VisitGolconda.com::
The Pope County Deer Festival had its origins in 1957. Since 1901, a fifty-six year period, the State of Illinois had been closed to deer hunting due to a small deer population. By 1957, the deer population had recovered sufficiently to permit a hunting season. In that first year, 1735 deer were harvested in thirty-three counties. Interestingly, 110 deer were harvested in Pope County. Since that first season, autumn deer hunting has become a tradition and with it the Pope County Deer Festival.

A Service Dept. Video - Two Things That'll Save You Some Headaches This Winter -

::Disclaimer-Blogs on Service Dept. topics are intended to educate and inspire, these blogs and their suggestions do not replace, nor are they intended to replace regularly scheduled maintenance..::

As Winter sets in, it's extremely important to make sure that you've done everything within your power to prepare for the freezing temps.  It's recommended to bring your tractor in for a full service before the freeze ... but we understand that it's not always feasible to shell out the cash for a full service just a month or so before Christmas.

With that in mind, I asked Service Manager Mike Little and Kenny Caudle to discuss with me a couple of things that the tractor owner can do to prevent cold weather problems if bringing their tractor in for a full service just isn't in the budget.

After reiterating that there are many things done during a full service at Little Tractor that many tractor owners just aren't meticulous enough to bother with when performing maintenance at home or on the farm ... the fellas went on to agree that anti-freeze and fuel stabilizer are the two of the most important items for the upcoming Winter months.

Antifreeze and Fuel Additive are availbe in the
Little Tractor Parts Dept.
