::What People Are Saying About Little Tractor:: - A Little Tractor Testimonial -

After my wife got home, I got on the tractor for only the second time since looking at it at your store and bladed new rock drive with the bucket and my blade.

I then got the bush hog mower attached and moved for about an hour. I got a 1/3 of 5 acres mowed in that time. In the past it would have taken much longer. I tried mowing in 1st high gear and then using the lower gears. I found that low 4th worked the best at this thick grass. The fuel gauge barely budged during this time.

Just wanted you to know, that I am very happy with this tractor."

Paul R., Mt. Vernon, Illinois, purchased a Kioti CK25 tractor in May 2007.

::What People Are Saying About Little Tractor:: - A Little Tractor Testimonial -

We had shopped around for several weeks prior to purchasing a new Kioti CK25.  We have owned green, blue, and the other orange brand of tractors and were closely looking at a comparable model N/H.
After comparing features, fit/finish, and warranty/specs, the choice was easy. With today's economy, like most people, we are value minded. It is important to feel like you get the best value for the investment you make.

The staff of Little Tractor did an excellent job of answering questions, providing information, and representing the Kioti brand. A reputable dealership is critical when purchasing equipment. After spending a few minutes with Jay and the other people at the dealership, it is apparent they are interested in developing customer loyalty, providing quality service, and long term success.

It has been two weeks since our purchase.

The CK25 has far exceeded our expectations.

In fact, we liked it so well, we went back to the dealership this weekend

and purchased one of their new CK20S models.

::What People Are Saying About Little Tractor:: - A Little Tractor Testimonial -

We looked at a lot of different makes and sizes of tractors before deciding on a Kioti. The CK35 fit all our needs for use. The hydrostat makes for easy driving; the engine is powerful; the power steering is awesome; the tilt wheel and adjustable seat adds comfort; the controls are conviently located; the paint is slick (even before we waxed it); and the fold down roll bar comes down easily for storage in our garage. With the free loader deal, the price didn't break our account. So far there hasn't been anything not to like about our Kioti.

Lastly, the staff of Little Tractor has treated us extremely well and are very knowledgeable of the all the tractors, answering all the questions we had.

We will recommend Little Tractor to anyone looking for an extremely good, well built tractor at a great buy.

"When our home burned last year we lost everything.  While trying to get our life back to something that may be called "normal", I needed filters for my DK 35.

While I was on the phone with parts I told them of the house burning and that UPS could have a problem with a house not here any more. The parts DID arrive fine. But inside the parts box was a new hat. Man it was like finding gold.

Now I had a hat to wear again. Thanks to everyone at Little Tractor!"

Little Tractor is a member of the Big Heine Purple Outhouse Fan Club - Are YOU?

There was a surprise for us on the Little Tractor lot this morning ..
actually it wasn't 'too' much of a surprise because news always leaks in a small town like Metropolis...

As we began to gather for our work day, employees couldn't help but notice that a purple outhouse sat proudly on the road side at "the Land of Little Tractor"...

The Big Heine Purple Outhouse is the brain child
of a group of Metropolis folks to raise funds for the 2011 Massac County Relay for Life.

11/18/2010 - On the Road Again - Pope County Deer Festival -

We did miss the sunshine today while we were on the road to Pope County's 50th Annual Deer Festival, but when our feet hit the pavement and we caught the smell of bar-b-que and funnel cakes wafting through the air, the drive had been worthwhile.

However, the trip wasn't made for funnel cakes and bar-b-que ... the trip was made to deliver a few of the gas powered Bad Boy MTVs to the event staff at 50th Annual Pope County Deer Festival in Golconda, IL.

In the video below, Sales Manager Jay Corzine details some of  the fine points of the Bad Boy MTV and gives his own testimonial based on personal experience.

Enjoy!

::From VisitGolconda.com::
The Pope County Deer Festival had its origins in 1957. Since 1901, a fifty-six year period, the State of Illinois had been closed to deer hunting due to a small deer population. By 1957, the deer population had recovered sufficiently to permit a hunting season. In that first year, 1735 deer were harvested in thirty-three counties. Interestingly, 110 deer were harvested in Pope County. Since that first season, autumn deer hunting has become a tradition and with it the Pope County Deer Festival.

A Service Dept. Video - Two Things That'll Save You Some Headaches This Winter -

::Disclaimer-Blogs on Service Dept. topics are intended to educate and inspire, these blogs and their suggestions do not replace, nor are they intended to replace regularly scheduled maintenance..::

***
As Winter sets in, it's extremely important to make sure that you've done everything within your power to prepare for the freezing temps.  It's recommended to bring your tractor in for a full service before the freeze ... but we understand that it's not always feasible to shell out the cash for a full service just a month or so before Christmas.

With that in mind, I asked Service Manager Mike Little and Kenny Caudle to discuss with me a couple of things that the tractor owner can do to prevent cold weather problems if bringing their tractor in for a full service just isn't in the budget.

After reiterating that there are many things done during a full service at Little Tractor that many tractor owners just aren't meticulous enough to bother with when performing maintenance at home or on the farm ... the fellas went on to agree that anti-freeze and fuel stabilizer are the two of the most important items for the upcoming Winter months.

Antifreeze and Fuel Additive are availbe in the
Little Tractor Parts Dept.

This is gonna make you take a look at your engine oil!

Thursday afternoon as I walked through the service department returning from lunch, Little Tractor mechanic Kenny Caudle said, "Now I know you're not a mechanic...but I want you to come here and look at this....."
((to which I said, "Well you are one smart cookie, I'm on the way!"))

Kenny proceeded to show me the engine oil he had removed from a tractor during a service.  He explained that this was a prime example of lack of engine maintenance.

I asked him to "pause" and let me come right back to do our first ever
Little Tractor Service Department Video!!

See the Bad Boy MTV at the Super City Blues & Ques in Metropolis!

Do you have a large yard or farm?  Do you find yourself spending a lot of time walking back and forth to your supply barn, making many trips ... possibly driving your truck right through your beautifully manicured lawn just to get everything you need hauled out to your project site on 'the back 40'?

Good news, friends ... mess up your yard with that heavy old truck NO MORE!!

_____________________________________________________________
Take a look at the Bad Boy MTV!!

The Bad Boy MTV is available with gas or electric operation and you can take a closer look at
BOTH this weekend at the Super City Blues & Ques in Metropolis, Illinois.

Observe the electric Bad Boy MTV in action as it's used by the event staff this weekend at the Super City Blues & Ques.  It may be electric, but this isn't a "jazzed up" golf cart!!  No siree, Bob!
This is the world's FIRST all electric multi-terrain vehicle...
A vehicle of a whole new breed!

*Virtually Maintenance Free: Check batteries every 6 weeks and fluid levels every 2,000 miles.

*Hassle Free: Get in and Go/Never worry about Fuel, coolant, or daily maintenance

*Smart Charge System: Automatically shuts off when charged/Plug it in and forget it

*Smoothest Ride: Articulating rear end for the best ride and performance

*Go Green: Throw the gas can away and enjoy the pollution free all electric ride.

*Framed Stronger: Powder Coated Fusion-Bonded Solid Steel Bridge Frame

*Tires: 6 ply steel radial tires

*Automatic Dump bed: Fingertip control of any load.

*Safety: 1.75” Solid Steel Roll Cage/ Lap Belts/ top speed 20 mph/start sequence-key on, Brake released, fwd/reverse switch engaged.

*Quiet: No engine noise or vibration. Great for hunting or enjoying a peaceful conversation as you ride.

*Batteries: Patented Interstate Batteries can be found at any automotive outlet/optional easy fill battery option.

*Industry safe: The electric vehicle can operate inside any factory because of its non-combustible make-up.

*Simplicity: Electric vehicles are mechanically simple compared to the internal combustion engine. For example, here are some things a gasoline powered vehicle has that an Electric vehicle does not …
Engine Oil, Oil pump, Coolant / Radiator, Transmission, Exhaust pipe, Exhaust manifold, Clutch, Spark Plugs, Fuel Injectors, Fuel/Oil/Air Filters, Engine Belts and Timing Chains.
This means you won’t have oil changes, coolant flushes, or transmission problems. There are no air filters, oil filters, or fuel filters to replace. There are no tune-ups or emissions tests. There are no belts or radiator hoses to replace.
___________________________________________________________________
____________________________________________________________________
____________________________________________________________________

The model on display near the stage is the Gas model.  It allows a larger towing capacity, has a larger payload and travels at higher speeds than the electric model.

The Little Tractor Hat Lifetime Warranty...

You may remember on May 10 of this year, when we announced - Little Tractor Hats Now with a Lifetime Warranty!!

As Spring rushed into Summer, that project inadvertently went to the back burner.  We're happy to announce that we hung our sign in the Parts Dept. last week and today we started adding the hats to the wall that we've collected.

It doesn't matter if you own one now or you get one next week ... it doesn't matter if it's tattered, ripped and torn ... it doesn't matter if it's covered with the spatterings of painting projects completed long ago or the blood of the last deer you killed; Little Tractor hats now hold a LIFETIME WARRANTY.
We just want to take this opportunity to remind you ... :)
