Your Monday A.M. DuQuoin State Fair Low Down!!

As you've passed by the land of Little Tractor in the past week, you may have noticed that there's been a lot of shuffling taking place on our lot. This is because it's time for us once again to head off to the DuQuoin State Fair, which kicked off on Friday!

If you've been thinking you'll just hold off until next year on that new tractor or equipment, you might have been mistaken. Trailers-full and Trailers-full of KIOTI, Bad Boy, Grasshopper and Gravely are at the DuQuoin Fair, waiting for you!!  Well, they HAVE been taken off of the trailers so that you can more easily give them the once-over!

The DuQuoin State Fair is a constant that we look forward to each year as Summer begins to turn to Fall.

A few things you can find at the Little Tractor booth this year ...
  • Several loads of new KIOTI tractors with up to $2750 cash off on each one!!
  • In addition to that, we've added the DuQuoin State Fair Special, another $700 off!!
  • Low-rate finance options by Agri-credit!

  • A special on which the number is extremely limited .... one.  There is one LK30 at DuQuoin as we speak that is packaged with a loader, tiller, box blade AND PJ Trailer!  It's also available without the trailer ... and there's a discount for cash purchase!

  • See the Bad Boy Mower and learn about the 5-point Advantage - A serious reduction in mowing time could be on the horizon for you!!

See Little Tractor at the DuQuoin State Fair,
now through September 6th!

It's That Time Again ... A Few Words about the DuQuoin State Fair!

""In 1923, W.R. Hayes visualized a state fair on a 30-acres tract of land just south of Du Quoin. His eye for the future saw the adjoining strip-mined areas as a place to expand, once the fair was established. An excellent businessman, Hayes convinced investors to contributed a share in his dream.
It probably never occurred to him that rural southern Illinois has no drawing card to ensure the fair's success. He was always fond of saying, "If you're going to do something, do it all the way." And he did
.""

On August 27th of this year, the DuQuoin State Fair will kick off it's 87th year!
Little Tractor has attended the DuQuoin State Fair for the past 6 years and thoroughly enjoys the opportunity to meet and talk with not only potential customers, but others in the agriculture industry.  The week prior is a busy one for us too as we load up KIOTIS and Bad Boys and Grasshoppers (oh MY!) and head north to set up our booth.

If you make it to the DuQuoin State Fair this year,
we'd like you to stop by our booth and say, "Hello!".

Tell us what kind of projects you'd like to accomplish around your homestead and let us advise you on tractors, implements and equipment that will help you get the job done!

We also want to encourage you to make it to the fair.  We have a commercial that says, "your home and property are more than likely the biggest investment you're ever gonna make."; don't let yourself forget who lives in that home.
Take a family night ... or day and head out to the DuQuoin State Fair!

A Thing or Four to do with Peaches...

Good Afternoon from Little Tractor!!

This morning while perusing the status messages updates on Facebook,
it was hard not to notice that several of our Facebook friends have gone Peach picking!!
Three in all .... their status updates glimmered with plans of cobblers, jams and domesticism.

In an effort to enthuse the rest of us about farm fresh produce, I took a few minutes to find some delicious recipees for all of the peaches you folks have gathered ... as well as a link to the website for Food Preservation, where you can learn all kinds of things about canning, freezing and preserving food; in general!!

A Note from the Marketing Dept. - Little Tractor Video of the Week -

I would like to offer my sincere apologies for the fact that this feature (that I had intended to be a weekly one) has derailed. I feel my first mistake was not testing the video and upload process in an effort to determine which video outlet would be the most convenient one from which to post to the web...

Having now done that, I have learned that the "QIK" app will allow us to take an excellent quality video on the Little Tractor lot and upload it within seconds to the web for your enjoyment. ((Actually, the QIK app has nothing to do with the quality of the video (I don't want to mislead) :) ... but it is a very user friendly upload device for videos.))

"The Pre-Owned Item of the Week" will be modified and refreshed a bit and will return on September 3 as the "Little Tractor Video of the Week". It's my hope that this change in concept will allow a wider variety of videos; an opportunity to show instructional information, store and lot tours as well as our pre-owned selection.

If you would like to suggest topics that you would like to see hilighted on the "Little Tractor Video of the Week", please feel free to leave a comment below, leave a comment on our FACEBOOK or send an email to LittleTractor2@yahoo.com with "Suggestion" in the subject line.

As always, you can see our ever-rotating pre-owned inventory HERE.
